Patient Participation Group

Latest minutes 04.07.2019 - PPG minutes

What is a Patient Participation group (PPG)?

In it's most basic form it is a voluntary group of patients, like you who want to have an opinion and influence how your care is provided. Patient participation groups meet (in person or virtually) on a regular basis to discuss the services on offer, and how improvements can be made for the benefit of patients and the practice.

Why should you become a member?

By joining, we are giving you as patients a platform to tell us what you need from us, what you like that we do and what you think could do with a tweak.
No ideas are silly and we would really love to learn and develop our surgery to suit you all. It is not mandatory to attend every meeting, however we do encourage as much involvement as you can give.

How to become a member?

You can click the image above 'join our patient participation group' to fill out a short form which will send to us, you can also click our Facebook links to join our private PPG group.

What to expect from us

We will provide a platform for you to engage with us, for example, a private facebook group for our PPG members attatched to our page where polls and opinions can be taken and read. From time to time, we may email out a survery for you to complete. We also host evenings on our premisis to meet as a collective group and have discussions about the surgery and yourselves; the meetings are not mandatory but encouraged.

What not to expect from us

We will not send exessive amounts of polls, surveys, feedback forms or updates. We will not penalise any patient for their feedback or amount of input into the group.

What we would like from you:
